MY FAVOURITE MOVIE AHMAD AQLAN DANISH BIN AHMAD FUAD DIA0301 IPJ212910302

Kimi No Na Wa also known as Your Name has to be one of my favorite movies of all time. Kimi No Na Wa is a 2016 Japanese animated romantic fantasy film directed by Makoto Shinkai, produced by CoMix Wave Films , and distributed by Toho. It depicts a high school boy in Tokyo and a high school girl in the Japanese countryside who suddenly and inexplicably begin to swap bodies.

There is something incredibly unique about this film that I've never seen in any anime or any live-action movie and that is that this is a body-swapping film. This film opens up with a girl named Mitsuha who wakes up and realized she has a female body part and the same thing happens to a boy named Taki who realized that he had a male body part that's because Mitsuha and Taki switched bodies. the story is about these two characters who swap bodies without any warning has to figure out how to spend days in the other person's body and figure out why this is happening.

Kimi No Na Wa is a kind of film which have a complex and deep narrative combined with a powerful emotional twist that made its viewer extremely immersed and invested in the story while at the same time effectively hiding its minor weakness. it's a kind of film that cannot be easily understood with a single viewing. Even if you could understand its main narrative immediately, it's hard to remember every detailed information this film gives you because this film is extremely details rich.

A strong narrative cannot be properly given without suitable graphical quality and soundtrack, and these two points alone are what I can describe as "Perfect" for the movie.  The musical score by Radwimp made every scene feel natural with every song and every tune accompanying the scene nicely in proper moments. Makoto Shinkai is a director famous for their gorgeous graphics and animation quality, and this film is no exception, with visuals no other anime film could be compared of.

Personally, I've watched countless anime series and movies and I still think that this film is my personal favorite anime. Even though there are many contenders for best anime films, Kimi no Na Wa in my opinion is the best anime film and the best of all time in the fantasy romance genre. And I think that this film deserves every single award it already gets at the time of its release. My final verdict is 9 out of 10.
