MY FAVOURITE MOVIE

The Florida Project got to be one of my favorite films, and it was a coming-of-age 2017 drama films. It was directed by Sean Baker and written by Baker and Chris Bergoch. The movie was stars by William Defoe, Brooklyn Prince, Bria Vinaite and many more. This film was taken in a motel in Kissimmee, Florida. The unique part of the name of the film “The Florida Project” was an old codename for Walt Disney World on its earlier stage of planning.

Monee, Scooty, and Dicky are three children who appear at the beginning of the film. Their expressions reveal that they are willing to rebel. The Magic Castle Motel is home to Monee and Scooty, whereas the Futureland Motel is home to their other friend. They then proceeded to organize a trip to Dicky's Motel, where they began a spitting contest on the second floor. The spits landed on one of the neighborhood's cars while they were busily spewing down to the ground floor. Grandma Stacey, the car owner, became enraged and demanded that they clean it up. The youngsters fled, but Dicky's father noticed them and urged him to return to his bed.

Monee and Scooty returned to the Magic Castle Motel later and raced into Monee's home. Monee's mother, Halley, inquired if they were having any problems, but they refused to confess it. Grandma Stacey then came over to meet them and urged them to clean up her car. Monee and Scotty made a new friend named Jancey, who was Grandma Stacey's granddaughter, back at the Futureland Motel. Jancey tries to help them clean up as a sign of their growing friendship, and Grandma Stacey later became close to Halley and the kids as well.

Later in the film, Monee and Scooty's bond is depicted in daily life. They then invited Jancey to hang out with them. They show Jancey their usual hangout location and then take her on a fun trip. They begged strangers for ice cream and shared it. Following that, the film depicts their friend Dicky moving out of the Futureland Motel and into a new home in one of New Orleans' neighboring states. Dicky, their dearest friend, was said farewell.

Then, as the youngsters were hanging out in an abandoned condo across the street from their motel, they accidently set fire to it. Monee told Scooty and Jancey to keep it a secret and hurried home, acting as if nothing had happened. Halley, as well as Scooty's mother, Ashley, begged Monee to come view the blazing condo. Scooty was acting strangely, which Ashley noticed. Ashley forbade Scooty from hanging out with Monee after that episode, and the cops were unaware that the kids were responsible for the condo fire. Ashley and Halley developed a tense feud as a result of the circumstance.

The film also depicts Halley as a single mother who did her best to raise her daughter. They had problems paying rent after the fight with Ashley, but luckily the motel manager, Bobby, was sympathetic. To get money, Halley tries to sell perfumes she obtained from a wholesaler on the streets. Because the money was still insufficient, Halley began to engage in prostitution. Bobby is concerned about Monee's presence while she is engaged in prostitution, so he gives her advice. Later, Halley sought Ashley's assistance, but Ashley chastised her for being a horrible mother figure to Monee, and Halley became enraged and assaulted her.

Later, CDF (Child Defence Funds) rushed Halley's house, questioning her about how she managed to raise her and how Halley isn't stable enough to rear Monee. Halley later strives to make their house look more manageable and tidy on weekends. Even though Halley had cleaned up and become more manageable, the CDF returned with police to take Monee from her. The CDF officers promised Monee that they would take her on a long vacation, but she soon discovers that they are attempting to split her from her own mother. Monee hurried away crying to Jancey's house, thinking it was the final time she'd ever be in the region, and she wanted to say goodbye.

In the final scene of the film, Jancey drags Monee away from the camera. They ran into Disney World, as evidenced by the footage. The ending has yet to be explained, but there are two possibilities. Monee and Jancey, for example, ran away and started a new life. The second is that it is only Monee's imagination that she was able to visit Disney World, which is a children's paradise.

Overall, I enjoy this film since it reminds me of my childhood and emphasizes the importance of friendship. Also, motherly love and the difficulties of raising a child. It's a great film because it's the kind where you can immerse yourself in the characters.
